My stally Julandro! He's had a bit of a change in the looks/personality department. Finally worked out borders and bgrounds AND smudging, though I may need to practice on that one. XD
If anyone has any tips for me about smudging, they would be greatly apreciated, please!
A little info:
Name: Julandro (Hoo - lan - dro)
Gender: Stallion
Age: 25 human years
Height: 17 HH
Personality: Julandro is a bit of a pompous, grumpy old man for his age, and prefers to talk in his most knowledgeable manner of speaking, perfectly tuned in grammar, and using a wide range of vocabulary, preferring to use his small phoenix-bluebird to translate his speeches to others in a more simpler form. He can be persuaded to have fun and let hsi hair down, but he usually looks down upon such things. He is always trying to impress and impress upon people that he is wise and experienced, and accomplished in his art of fire. Rather simple in social skills, but loves to comment upon the wildlife. He is still getting over heartbreak from a mare in Olympus that he left behind, so he is not as accomadating as he could be.
History: Julandro's father was the god of fire, Hephaestus, and his mother a lowly muse, living high up in the clouds of Olympus. Ju's mother died when he was just the age of four. His father feared that his son would be powerless, and Hephaestus' fears were correct, for after being put to many tests, the young Julandro showed no signs of godly powers, not a flicker of a flame.
Hephaestus was disappointed with his son, and with the help of the other gods persuaded Zeus, the almighty god, to banish the seeimgly mortal Ju from Olympus. His only friend, a small palomino desert filly named Aspari, did nothing to help as he was sent from the heavenly gates and back to the mortal world. Ju wandered the lands, alone and heartbroken, with only his pet phoenix-bluebird, Di. At the age of 20, Julandro began to search for help, thinking that somehow he could find his powers and convince Zeus to bring him back to Olympus and make his father proud, and also to win Aspari's affections once more. He found training from a kindly stallion who was finding the same problems as himself, and together they channeled their thoughts and agression into unlocking their powers. Julandro is now quite accomplished with his fire powers, but he is always seeking knowledge and training from elders and those wise in the particular field.
